Thank you! Here is a sort of explanation of the last aphorism: Its sort of a miniature diagnosis of a paradox in nihilistic or poststructural thought: To abolish depth by proclaiming “surface only” still relies on depth. To abolish both by declaring “nothing” still smuggles depth back in through negation. So the very structure of our language and thought re-creates the metaphysical opposition we want to dismantle.

"Nothing fortifies the cage like the joy of finding the door" - I've been quite proud of myself lately for thinking up the idea of "living consciously at a higher dimension, as in, being invested but not dependent, there but everywhere, engaged but not consumed. A bit like knowing the door is there.
